We have opened a small orphanage in Arusha, Tanzania.We presently look after 8 children and have 5 staff. The orphanage is large enough to house 24 children and its our aim to achieve full capacity as funds allow.

Over the last 12 months the home has been fully refurbished, thanks to  the help of our  fundraisers.  The garden  has  three banana  plants and a host of vegetables are being grown. The children have also been given a large tortoise as a pet.

We are hoping to expand the orphanage by obtaining more land. This will enable us to cultivate more crops for home use. Selling the excess produce to locals would bring in an income to help with the up keep of the home.

We fund the day to day running cost of the home from various sources. We have two charity shops, one in Holyhead, Anglesey and the other in Blaenau Ffestiniog.We have people who make a monthly donation. This year we have set up a door to door national clothing collection with a company in  Bedford called Fortune International Ltd.
