One young lady, Dawn Newbury, decided to use her slimming project as a way of raising funds for African Orphans UK. She thought that losing those extra few pounds would be easy if she had an incentive. So what better than orphaned children in Africa. Dawn then approached all her friends and family for sponsorship, and with all those people showing an interest in her efforts the pounds soon come off.

Dawn reached her target and raised over £100 for African Orphans Uk.
