Roy and Lesley have now returned from Arusha in Tanzania. They have sucsessfully carried out a number of projects helping with local orphanages and ensuring that all of the children we support are ready for the new year at school. The Tanzanian school year runs from January to December. African Orphans have also helped the local children's remand centre repairing the oven allowing meals to be cooked safely. We are looking at carrying out more small individual projects as funds allow.

African Orphans UK are NOT collecting any clothing door to door at this present time.

African Orphans UK would like any household receiving a leaflet claiming to be from African Orphans UK for clothing collections to contact their local trading standards office and report this illegal activity to them.
